Rev. Arek Falana, Pastor

Rev. Arek Falana was born in Luban, a small town located in the southwest part of Poland, north of the Jizera Mountains on the Kwisa River. There he was Baptized at Holy Trinity Church and received his early education. In 1998, he entered the Seminary System of the Archdiocese of Chicago, attending Saint Joseph College Seminary and Mundelein Seminary. As a Seminarian, he taught Polish Religious Education Classes (CCD) at St. Bruno Parish in Chicago and Saint Blase Parish in Summit. In October 2005, he was ordained a Transitional Deacon, and in 2006, he was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Chicago. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Theology from Loyola University Chicago. Father Falana holds a Masters’ of Divinity Degree from the University of Saint Mary of the Lake / Mundelein Seminary. His first assignment was as Associate Pastor of Queen of All Saints Basilica in Chicago, Illinois. In 2011, he was assigned to Incarnation Catholic Parish in Palos Heights, Illinois. In March 2014 Francis Cardinal George, O.M.I., appointed Fr. Falana Pastor of the same, effective July 1, 2014
