  • Join our Music Ministry!

    New Music Ministries Seek Members!

Music Ministry at Incarnation is getting a face-lift, and there is a place for nearly everyone:

The Caritas Singers are the legacy of the Classic Choir.  We will sing at the 4:00 Mass and focus on choral music that spans the centuries.

The Laudate Singers and Instrumentalists are the legacy of the Contemporary Choir and will sing/play at the 11:00 Mass.  All instruments are welcome, and we will focus on music that reaches all the contemporary Church.

    - The Jubilate Singers are the legacy of the Children's Choirs and is open to all parish children in grades 3 through 8.  We will sing twice a month at the 9:30 Mass.

    - On the other Sundays at 9:30, the Adoramus Ringers will play.  Adoramus is open to parishioners 5th grade and older and is the legacy of the Handbell Choirs.

We also are actively seeking new Cantors and Instrumentalists by audition.  Come see our new Music Director Anne Madden after weekend Masses, email, or call her for more information.

We would love to have you!

Feel free to contact Anne with any questions at: amadden@incarnationcatholic.com

  • Family Festival

Thank you to all who came to our first ever on-site Family Fest last Sunday. It was a great success! We thank God who favored us with perfect weather. The event was a great team effort between our School Parents' Club and our Religious Education Program. Welcoming and friendly fellowship added to the good time had by all. The kids enjoyed the pony rides, bouncy houses, and feeding the animals in the petting zoo. Everyone got to be the judge for the very tasty chili cook-off and best-pie contests! Mmmmm! And if you were not too full after that, the freshly grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, beef sandwiches along with your favorite drinks and snacks (even cotton candy!!!) made for a very satisfying meal. Who even needed dinner after that? We appreciate all the volunteers who made this awesome event possible and all who came out to celebrate family life. A big THANK YOU to the co-chairs, Karen Hammond and Annie Canner for organizing and making it happen! God bless one and all! Incarnation is truly, a Family-friendly parish!

  • Welcome to our new Music Director!

Anne Madden has spent more than 20 years serving Catholic faith communities as pastoral musician and liturgist in the Archdiocese of Chicago and the Dioceses of Joliet, Peoria, Gary, and Fort Wayne-South Bend.  She earned her undergraduate degree in church music with an organ concentration at Valparaiso University and studied graduate organ performance at the University of Notre Dame.  She is currently pursuing further graduate studies in church music with a vocal concentration at Concordia University Chicago.  Mrs. Madden has served as an officer in several chapters of the American Guild of Organists, and has been active in the National Association of Pastoral Musicians and Southwest Pastoral Musicians.
Anne grew up in Chicago on the northwest side but has called Lemont home since 2002.  She met her husband Tim while music director at SS. Cyril and Methodius, and they are parents to three school-aged children.  She most recently served as Director of Music and Liturgical Ministry at Saint Xavier University.  She enjoys empowering people to use their talents to serve God and their community and feels blessed with the opportunity to become part of the Incarnation parish family.
Please keep her in your prayers as she begins this new phase of life and ministry and as she enriches the Music Ministry of our Parish with her God-given talents.  Of course, the best way to welcome Anne is to SING!  If you have a great voice or love to sing, please consider joining one of our choirs or becoming a cantor.

  • Jubilee of Mercy

This special Jubilee of Mercy calls us to reflect on the reality of God’s love for us.  Perhaps the most difficult facet of this love and mercy is that we must accept it.  It is not enough that we have received the mercy of God—we must choose to say “yes” to it so that God’s mercy might change and transform us.  Living out this reality of God’s love and mercy for us can sometimes be challenging, especially when life gets busy.  Please click on the above image to find more information on the Jubilee of Mercy in the Archdiocese of Chicago.

  • Religious Education Program

Handing on our faith to the next generation of Catholics is one of the most important responsibilities we share as the Church.

Incarnation Parish Religious Education Program (REP) is dedicated to this mission!

Our goal is to build a community where young disciples and their families not only learn more about the life-saving message of Our Lord Jesus, they truly encounter the love and mercy of Christ through our wonderful catechists, aides, and board members!

REP meets from September through May, on Sunday mornings or Monday afternoons.  Over 260 kindergarten through eighth graders currently join in prayer, music, art, and study - bringing our Catholic faith alive!  Every grade lives the mission of Jesus by doing service, in our parish community and beyond. From our first graders who make cards for the nursing home, to our third graders who pray the rosary, to our seventh graders who serve as junior catechists, all our young disciples learn the importance of "washing feet."  We also worship together and learn about the Holy Mass: all our grades attend "class Masses" with their catechists throughout the year, to deepen their understanding of and relationship to the Eucharist.

From Mr. B. Fuesel and Mrs. C. Smarz, who have been catechists for over thirty years, to Nick, Carissa, Becca, Alex, Ana, and Jackson, our high school helpers, everyone in REP is welcome to share their time and giftedness!  And our REP Board is amazing - hard working and strong in their faith.  Every summer they gather for an overnight retreat, spending time in prayer, reflection, and spiritual growth.

Please keep our religious education program, our children, their families, our catechists, aides and staff, in your prayers - that the Holy Spirit of God continue to bless us and inspire us.

Also please stop by the Religious Education office to register your child(ren) to our wonderful program, call at 708.388.4005 for more informtion or check out our REP web page by clicking HERE.

Since July 1, 2014 through September 9, 2016, as many as 191 new Families have registered at Incarnation!  Our October count was up by 6.4% last year.

We welcome you to our Parish family.  We are happy that you chose to become members of this Catholic community.  New parishioners are always welcome in our Parish.  You will find our parishioners to be warm, friendly and down-to-earth people for whom worship, education, and social outreach are important values.  We are proud of our past; we enjoy one another's company in the present; and we look forward to a future full of hope and promise.

We are all very pleased that you have chosen to register and join us on our pilgrimage of faith.  And for those who haven’t registered yet, please consider joining our parish. If you are registered somewhere else, but find yourselves worshipping with us, please consider registration, (you can always split your contributions between two parishes).  Now you can register on our website, in the Parish Office, or pick up a registration form from the kiosk in the vestibule of the Church and drop it into the offertory basket on Sunday.

  • Visit our Marian Garden

You might want to check out our beautiful Marian Garden, located between the School building and the Bernardin Center.  The entrance is next to the Music Room and is open from 7:00AM to 9:00PM.  It is a beautiful, shaded garden that affords a quiet and restful atmosphere for prayer and meditation.  There are benches to sit on or a path to walk, whichever suits your need.  A shrine to Mary is at the west end of the garden for those who wish to invoke Her prayers for their concerns.  Our Parishoner Bob F. and other dedicated parishioners maintain this peaceful place. We thank them for their hard work and dedication and, at the same time, we encourage all to visit.
